Everybody knew the day I was coming.
Everybody was just so welcoming- an incredible way to start. Very special, make you feel right at home…and that spirit just goes on and on! How accommodating and friendly and helpful, and again staff and residents are all one family. I think one of the things we most enjoy is each other. People who leave, leave with happy memories!
You can pretty much do what you want to do.
If you have family and they come and pick you up that’s wonderful. And if you don’t you have family here! I more or less planned it, I decided that I should be in a place that took care of me and they have done marvelously. The food is good, you don’t have to cook it…and everybody is different so everybody brings something else to the table. It’s really a fun place to live.
I love people at the Whitinsville Retirement Home and Apartments.
Most have pretty much decided they’re going to enjoy the golden years of their life. Sometimes I even run into them in town or at church- they’re always so friendly and happy to talk.
I was in the [elderly] apartments and I was looking forward to coming here.
I wasn’t disappointed. It was an easy transition. The people are all friendly and they accept each other and the food is good.
